Mineral lick

A mineral lick is like a big pile of special rocks that animals, like deer and birds, like to eat. The rocks have minerals in them that animals need to stay healthy, like calcium, iron, and lots of other minerals. Animals will come to the mineral lick and chew on or lick the rocks to get the minerals, just like humans eat vitamins!
