ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Miniwaste

Miniwaste is a way of talking about the junk, garbage, and trash that people make every day. It's all the stuff that we throw away at home, school, or work. But instead of calling it trash, we use the fancy word "miniwaste".

Now, sometimes throwing things away is necessary, but sometimes we can keep using the same things over and over again. For example, instead of using a plastic spoon and throwing it out after just one use, we can use a real metal spoon that we can wash and use again many times. That's called "reusing" or "reducing" our miniwaste.

Another cool way to reduce miniwaste is to recycle. Think of it like magic, we can take the old things and turn them into new things. For example, we can recycle old paper or plastic bottles and turn them into new paper or other plastic products. This is a great way to cut down on miniwaste and help the environment.

So, little one, miniwaste is just a fancy word for the trash we make, but we can do our part to reduce it by reusing things and recycling!
