Minnesota Farmer–Labor Party

Okay kiddo, let's talk about the Minnesota Farmer-Labor Party. Back in the old days, before you were born, farmers and other workers in Minnesota had a really hard time making a living. They didn't have good wages or working conditions, so they decided to join together and form a political party called the Minnesota Farmer-Labor Party.

The members of this party wanted to make things better for people who worked hard to make a living. They wanted to make sure that workers were treated fairly and had a voice in government. They supported laws that would help people, like laws that made sure workers got breaks and were paid a fair wage for their work.

The Minnesota Farmer-Labor Party was a big deal in Minnesota for a while. They won a bunch of elections and even helped get laws passed that protected workers' rights. But eventually, they merged with another party called the Democratic Party to become what we now know as the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.

So, in short, the Minnesota Farmer-Labor Party was a group of workers and farmers who got together to fight for better rights and wages through the political process.
