Misogyny in sports means some people don't like or respect girls and women who play sports. It's like if someone said, "Girls can't be good at sports because they're too weak or not as tough as boys."
But that's not true at all! Both girls and boys can be really good at sports, and it doesn't have anything to do with whether they are a boy or a girl. It's all about how hard they practice, how well they learn the skills, and how much they enjoy the sport.
Unfortunately, some people still think girls can't be as good as boys in sports, or they think girls shouldn't even be playing sports at all. This is called misogyny, and it's not okay.
It's important to remember that everyone, no matter what gender they are, should be able to play sports and feel welcome and respected while doing it.
