Mobile telephony

Mobile telephony is a way to send and receive phone calls and texts over radio signals through your phone. It's like having a mini radio station in your pocket! Your phone connects to your phone carrier's mobile phone towers, and those towers communicate with each other to send and receive these calls and texts from other phones around the world. So if your friend is in another country, you can still call each other with mobile telephony. Pretty cool, huh?
