Modern English

Modern English is the language that is most commonly spoken today in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and many other countries around the world. It is an updated version of the language that started in Britain centuries ago, and it has changed a lot over time! There have been lots of new words created and many old words have been given new meanings. As time goes on, people around the world continue to invent new words, and the language changes. That is why it is called 'modern' English!
