Modillion

You know how roofs usually have little parts that stick out on the bottom, like teeth? Those parts are called "eaves". Sometimes, fancy houses or buildings have eaves that are decorated with little blocks or brackets that stick out further than normal. These special decorations are called "modillions". They're like a fancy dress-up for the roof!
