Molecular mechanics

Molecular mechanics is like a game of Lego where pieces fit together to make something new. In molecular mechanics, the pieces are made up of the atoms that make up a molecule. Scientists can use molecular mechanics to work out how different pieces of a molecule fit together and predict how molecules of different types may behave. By understanding and predicting these behaviours, scientists can develop new drugs or materials that could help solve problems like diseases, environmental issues or other challenges.
