Molecular vibration

Molecular vibration is when the molecules in something like a gas or a liquid move back and forth. Sometimes these molecules move very quickly, and when they do, they cause the air or liquid to vibrate. When the vibrations are fast enough, they create sound waves that we can hear. If the vibrations are too slow or too small, then we don't hear anything.
