Monocracy

Monocracy is when one person is in charge of a country. This means that one person makes all the decisions and laws for the country. It's like having one boss at a job, but in this case it's for a whole country! People can disagree with the decision the monocrat (the one leader) makes, but they still have to follow the decision. Usually, the monocrat is elected by the people of the country or chosen by a leader in the past.
