Moral authority

Moral authority means that you have special power to teach others what is right and wrong. To have moral authority, you must show respect and treat others with kindness, honesty and fairness. When you show these qualities to others, people will look up to you and be more likely to listen to what you say. For example, a teacher or a parent has moral authority over their students and children, because they help guide and teach them how to make good decisions.
