Charismatic authority

Charismatic authority is a type of leadership when a person is obeyed and respected because they are seen as having special personal qualities such as charm, confidence or strength of character. People usually follow the leader because they are inspired by their personal magnetism or by their beliefs and ideas. Charismatic leaders usually have strong personalities, they're often seen as heroic figures, and they are often very good at giving inspiring speeches. People who follow charismatic leaders usually feel a strong connection to them and trust their decisions.
