Moral realism

Moral realism is the idea that there are certain things in the world that are right or wrong, no matter what anybody thinks. In other words, it is not just a matter of opinion; it is a matter of fact. For example, even if everyone in the world thought that it was ok to hurt other people, it would still be wrong to do so. That's what moral realism means.
