Mormonism and Christianity

Mormonism and Christianity both believe in Jesus, but they have some different beliefs. Mormonism began in the 1800s and is based on writings and teachings of a prophet named Joseph Smith. Christianity is based on the Bible and has been around for much longer. Both religions believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He came to Earth to save us from our sins, but Mormonism also believes that Joseph Smith was a prophet who received information from God in the 1800s. Both religions believe in following God’s commandments and being decent people, but Mormonism also believes that God can speak to prophets today, just like He did in the Bible.
