ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Moroccan Arabic

Moroccan Arabic is a type of language that people in Morocco speak. It's a bit different from other types of Arabic because it has some unique words and phrases that you might not hear in other Arabic-speaking countries.

For example, in Moroccan Arabic, instead of saying "marhaba" to say hello, people often say "salam" or "labas" (which means "how are you?").

Moroccan Arabic also has some special sounds that aren't in other languages. For example, they might make a "kh" sound by clearing their throat instead of using their tongue like in other languages.

Like any language, Moroccan Arabic has grammar rules and vocabulary that you have to learn. But once you get the hang of it, you can use it to communicate with people from Morocco and understand more about their culture.
