Mountain river

A mountain river is a river that flows in between mountains. It is kind of like when you pour water on your sandbox and it flows through the little hills you made. But instead of sand, it's water and instead of your little hills, it's big, beautiful mountains.

The water in a mountain river starts high up in the mountains, usually from snow or rain. It then trickles down the mountain, forming little streams that come together to make a bigger stream.

The water keeps flowing down the mountain until it forms a river that can be big enough for people to swim, fish, and play in. But because the river is in between the mountains, the water can move quickly and become rapids, which are bumpy and exciting but can also be dangerous.

Mountain rivers are important because they provide water for people and animals living in the mountains and down below. They also create beautiful landscapes that people like to visit and explore.
