Movimento Passe Livre

Movimento passe livre (MPL) is a movement in Brazil that is fighting for people to be able to ride public transport for free. This movement started because many people in Brazil cannot afford to pay for public transport, and so they have been protesting and asking the government to make it free. This way, everyone would be able to get around and get to work or school without having to spend money they don't have. MPL wants to make it easier for people to get around, and they've been trying to get the government to agree to let people ride public transportation for free.
