Mr. Big (police procedure)

MR. BIG is a type of police procedure used by law enforcement. It involves an undercover police officer posing as someone who is involved in criminal activity, like a leader of an organized crime group. This undercover officer will then try to get the suspect to talk about any crimes that they might have committed. The suspect usually thinks that they are talking to someone who is part of a criminal organization, when in reality they are talking to a police officer. This is a useful tool for the police to try and get evidence that could lead to an arrest or conviction.
