Multicriteria classification

Multicriteria classification is when you try to figure out a decision by looking at different factors, or "criteria". For example, say you are trying to decide what kind of pet to get. You might want to think about how much time you want to spend taking care of your pet and how much space you have in your house. Those would be two criteria. You could then look at different kinds of pets and see how they measure up against those criteria. Do they require a lot of time, or not so much? Do they take up a lot of space, or are they small? After considering all the factors, you can make your decision. That's multicriteria classification!
