ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Multiple comparisons problem

The multiple comparison problem is when you compare more than two things and it’s hard to know which one is the most different or the best. Imagine you have three cakes and you want to know which one is the yummiest. Each time you taste a different cake, it changes what you think of the other cakes. It's like a game of telephone where you can’t really tell which one is best in the end. That’s the multiple comparison problem!
