ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Multiresolution analysis

Multiresolution analysis is a way of looking at the same thing or problem in different ways. It is like taking a picture, and then looking at it up close or from far away. When you look at a picture from far away, you don't see as much detail as you do when you look up close. But you get a better understanding of the whole picture. In the same way, with multiresolution analysis, you can look at a problem or issue in different levels of detail - sometimes close up, and sometimes from far away. This helps you understand the problem or issue in different ways and can help figure out the best solution.
