Mute (music)

When you watch a movie or a video and there is background music playing but you don't want to hear it, you can "mute" it. Mute means to turn off the sound completely so you can watch the movie or video without listening to the music. It's like putting your hands over your ears so you can't hear what someone is saying. With mute, you can always turn the music back on if you want to listen to it again.
