Myrrhbearers

Myrrhbearers were women who followed a man named Jesus who lived a very long time ago. They followed him because they believed he was an important person who could teach them how to be better people and how to be closer to God. When Jesus died, the myrrhbearers were very sad because they loved him very much. They went to his tomb to visit him and brought some special oils called myrrh to put on his body to make him smell nice. They wanted to show him how much they loved him even though he had died. So, the myrrhbearers were the women who loved and cared for Jesus, even after he had died.
