MythBusters (2006 season)
Okay kiddo, so there are these two guys named Jamie and Adam, and they like to do science experiments to see if things we believe are true, like myths, are really true or not. They call themselves the Mythbusters!
In 2006, they had their own TV show where they did all sorts of experiments to test myths. They would use things like explosions, fire, and even chickens to test the myths!
One myth they tested was whether or not a penny dropped from a tall building could kill a person down below. They found out that this was actually not true, and that a penny wouldn't even hurt a person if it hit them!
Another myth was whether or not a person could survive falling from an airplane without a parachute. They set up a big crash pad and dropped a dummy out of an airplane to see what would happen. They found out that even though the dummy survived the fall, a real person would not be able to survive because the impact would be too strong.
They also did some fun experiments, like testing if a CD could be used as a weapon, if a person could sneeze with their eyes open, and if elephants were afraid of mice.
