N-connectedness

N-connectedness refers to how tightly connected different shapes or objects are. When we say something is "n-connected," we mean it has connections that go in many different directions and can't easily be pulled apart.

Imagine you have a big jigsaw puzzle with many pieces. If every piece of the puzzle is connected to at least n other pieces, we call it n-connected. For example, if every piece of the puzzle is connected to at least 2 other pieces, we say the puzzle is 2-connected.

This concept is important in many areas of math and science, like computer networks, where we need to make sure all the different parts can talk to each other easily without any weak spots. Overall, n-connectedness helps us understand how different parts of a system work together and how strong those connections are.
