NIST
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is an organization in the United States that helps make sure that things like measurements and technology are accurate. They measure things like weights and temperatures and make sure that our technology (like computers and phones) works well. They also work on making sure that our technology is secure and safe for us to use.
