Nano-optics

Nano-optics is the study of very small or tiny things that interact with light. Light is made up of tiny particles called photons. Nano-optics looks at how photons can interact with even smaller things like atoms, molecules, and nanostructures, which are tiny structures made of atoms and molecules. Nano-optics studies how light interacts with these very small things so that scientists can make new technologies. For example, nano-optics could be used to make better computer screens, solar cells, and sensors.
