Nanoparticle tracking analysis

Nanoparticle tracking analysis is a way of looking at tiny particles in liquids under a microscope. These tiny particles are so small that they can be hard to see, so what scientists do is use special cameras to take pictures of them. The pictures they take are then analysed to see how the particles are moving and where they are in the liquid. This can be used to find out things like how a drug or chemical is acting in the environment.
