ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

National Association For Continence

The National Association for Continence (NAFC) is a group of grown-ups who want to help people who have trouble controlling their pee and poo.

You see, sometimes our bodies are not able to hold on to our pee and poo the way we want them to. This can be embarrassing and stop people from doing things they enjoy, like playing with friends or going to school. The NAFC wants to help people who experience this problem, also known as urinary and fecal incontinence, to feel more confident and comfortable in their bodies.

The NAFC does this by providing information about how to treat incontinence and offering support for individuals and their families who are affected by this. They also work with doctors and other healthcare professionals to help them understand how to best help people who have these issues. Through their efforts, the NAFC hopes to break the stigma associated with incontinence so that people who experience it can feel more empowered and live their lives to the fullest.
