ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

National Black Police Association (UK)

Okay, so the National Black Police Association is a group of people in the UK who are police officers or work with police officers, and they all have something in common: they are black.

Now, sometimes people who are black can feel like they are not treated the same as people who are not black, and this can happen even if they are doing the same job as someone who is not black.

So, the National Black Police Association was started to help make sure that people who are black who work in the police get treated fairly and equally, and that their voices are heard. They also work to help people who want to become police officers but might face challenges because of their race.

Does that make sense, kiddo?
