National Endowment for Democracy

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is like a big group of adults who want to help people all around the world learn about democracy. Democracy is when a country lets its people vote and make decisions together. The NED gives money and support to people and organizations in other countries who want to build democracy.

They help by giving money to groups who want to teach people how to vote and make good decisions, and by giving money to people who want to speak up about things they think are important. They also try to make sure people's human rights are respected, which means they get treated fairly and equally.

The NED wants everyone to have a say in how their country is run and to be able to live in peace and freedom. They believe that democracy is the best way to make that happen.
