National Institute for Undersea Science and Technology

The National Institute for Undersea Science and Technology is a part of the United States government that helps scientists do research about the oceans. They look at things like what kinds of animals live in the ocean and what kind of minerals are in the water. They also look at how people can use the ocean in safe and smart ways for things like transportation, energy, and food. All of the research that the Institute does helps us learn more about the oceans and how we can use them in the best ways possible.
