National Labor Relations Act

The National Labor Relations Act (or NLRA for short) is a law that was made by the government to make sure workers have the power to form groups (called "unions") and speak up for themselves.

Think about when you and your friends want to play a game, but you have to agree on the rules first. That's kind of what the NLRA does for workers and their bosses. It helps them agree on the rules for things like pay, breaks, and safety.

The NLRA says that workers have the right to form unions if they want to, and that bosses have to listen to what they have to say. It also helps make sure that bosses aren't mean or unfair to workers who are in unions.

So basically, the NLRA helps make sure that workers can stand up for themselves, and bosses have to be fair to them. It's like a big rulebook that helps make sure everyone plays nice!
