Native American genocide

Native American genocide is when one group of people tries to make another group of people disappear by killing them or forcing them away from their land. A lot of Native Americans were killed by settlers who were trying to take their land in the past. Thousands of Native Americans were killed and many of their villages and homes were destroyed. Even today, Native American communities are struggling because of the effects of the genocide.
