ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Natural Capitalism

Natural Capitalism is a way of thinking about how businesses and people can work together with nature to make the planet better for everyone. It means using natural resources like trees, water, and energy in smarter ways – so we use less and still get the same things from them. For example, instead of cutting down trees to build houses, natural capitalism might suggest building with recycled or renewable materials like sun-dried bricks. Or, if we need a road, natural capitalism might suggest making one out of an already existing path in the forest, so we don't have to cut down trees. Natural capitalism also involves other things like making sure people are paid fairly and that businesses don't pollute the environment with their waste. By taking care of the environment, businesses and people can help make sure that everyone has a better future together.
