ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Natural heritage

Natural heritage is like a big collection of things that nature made for us to enjoy and keep safe. It's like a giant toy box full of things nature made, like trees, animals, water, mountains, rocks, and flowers. These things are really special because they help us learn about the world and how nature works.

Just like how you might have special toys that you love and want to take care of, we have to take care of our natural heritage too so that we can keep it safe for a long time. That means not littering, not cutting down all the trees, not polluting the water, and being nice to animals.

If we take care of our natural heritage, we can keep enjoying all the wonderful things that nature has to offer like going on a hike, swimming in a lake, looking at beautiful flowers, and watching animals play. So it's important to understand that we need to take care of nature and our natural heritage just like how we take care of our toys.
