ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Natural justice

You know how when you play with your toys or your friends, you want things to be fair, right? You want everyone to have an equal turn or an equal chance to win. This idea of fairness is like natural justice.

In bigger situations like when grown-ups make big decisions that affect a lot of people, they have to make sure to be fair too. They have to follow rules that make sure everyone gets a fair chance to be heard and the decision is made in a way that is not biased or unfair.

This is called natural justice. It means that when someone faces a problem, they get a fair chance to defend themselves and the decision that affects them is made in a way that is unbiased and fair. Natural justice is like a set of rules that people have to follow to make sure everyone is treated fairly.
