Navajo Livestock Reduction

Navajo livestock reduction means that some of the animals raised by Navajo people have to be reduced or given away. This happens because the land where the Navajo people live can only support so many animals and if too many animals are there, they will eat up all of the grass or food that other animals need. To make sure that all animals have enough food to eat and stay healthy, the Navajo people have to reduce the number of animals they have. This means that they have to give some of the animals away or sell them so they don't have so many.
