Navy of the Ukrainian People's Republic

Okay kiddo, so a long time ago Ukraine used to be its own country called the Ukrainian People's Republic. They had a special group of people called the navy who protected their country on the water. It's kind of like playing in a big bathtub, but with really big boats that can go super fast. The people in the navy wore special uniforms and had special jobs, like making sure no bad guys came to hurt their country from the water. They worked really hard to keep Ukraine safe and protect the people who lived there. Does that make sense?
