Nawab

A nawab is like a king, but it is a special kind of king that is only found in some places. In India, long ago, there were some powerful people who ruled over big areas, and they were called nawabs. They were usually very rich and important, and they had lots of fancy things like big houses and fancy clothes. People would usually bow down and show respect to a nawab because they were so important. Nowadays, there are no nawabs in India anymore, but the word is still used to talk about those special kings from the past.
