Nazi plunder was when the Nazis, a group of people led by Adolf Hitler in Germany, stole a lot of precious items, like gold, jewelry and artwork, from people in other countries during World War 2. The Nazis took these items from banks, museums, and individual people and kept them for themselves. They wanted to take the valuable items to pay for their war efforts—and to help make Hitler even richer. This was a terrible thing to do, and the people they robbed were very upset.
