Neet Covered Bridge

Do you know what a covered bridge is? It's a bridge that has a covering over the top to protect it from the weather. The Neet Covered Bridge is a really special covered bridge because it's one of the oldest ones in the New England area.

It was built in 1874 by a man named Peter Paddleford, and it's located in the town of Lyndeborough, New Hampshire. The bridge is made up of wooden planks, and it goes over a small river called the Neet.

The Neet Covered Bridge is famous because it has a really cool design. It's called a "queen post" bridge because it has two upright posts that hold up the roof, with a crossbeam on top to reinforce it.

Even though it's over 140 years old, the Neet Covered Bridge is still standing strong! People can still drive through it, take pictures of it, and enjoy the history of this amazing bridge.
