Neolithic tomb

A neolithic tomb is a type of place where people in the Neolithic Age (which was a time a long, long time ago) buried their dead. The Neolithic people built these tombs from big stones, which look like steps going into a big mound of dirt or rocks. The tombs were like little houses for dead people, and they were decorated with symbols and drawings. Sometimes, people would put food and jewelry in the tombs so the spirit of the dead person would have something to take with them to the afterlife.
