Okay kiddo, so imagine there was a special building a long time ago called the Nestorian Church in a place called Luoyang. It was a place where people went to worship and pray to God.
Inside this church there was a big stone pillar, called the Nestorian Pillar of Luoyang. This pillar was really important because it had some special writings on it that told the story of how the church started in China.
The writings were in a language called Syriac, which is different from the Chinese language that the people in China spoke. But there were some people who could read both languages and they helped to translate the writings so that everyone could understand them.
The pillar was also really old and had been there for a really long time. Even though it's been around for so long, it's still important to some people because it tells a story about a time when different cultures and religions were trying to understand and help each other.
