ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Network protector

A network protector is like a special helper who stays near an important building or area to make sure that the flow of electricity is just right.

Think of it like a water hose that needs to have the right amount of water pressure to work properly. Just like that, important buildings and areas need the right amount of electricity to work properly.

The network protector does this by constantly monitoring how much electricity is flowing through the power cables and making sure that it stays within the safe range. If there is too much electricity flowing, the network protector will shut off the power to that area to avoid damage or danger.

So, basically a network protector is like a guardian angel who keeps the electricity flowing at just the right amount for the buildings and areas that need it.
