Network theory in risk assessment looks at how risks are linked to one another. When a risk happens, it can cause other risks to happen as well. Network theory looks at how the different risks can be connected and how changes in one risk may cause other risks down the line. For example, if a factory has a fire, it could cause a chain reaction of other risks. It could damage the factory equipment and cause people to lose their jobs. Network theory looks at all of these risks and tries to figure out the best way to handle them.
