Neurath's boat

Neurath's boat is an idea created by Austrian philosopher Otto Neurath. It's a metaphor for how we use information and knowledge to build our understanding of the world around us. Just like a boat needs parts, new ideas, and changes to stay afloat and make progress, we can use the same idea to help us understand the world. We take what we know, what new ideas we have, and what our experience tells us, and we can use them to build on our existing knowledge and create new knowledge that leads us to new understanding.
