ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Double-loop learning

Double-loop learning is like when you learn something from a mistake you make. First, you learn something from the mistake, like that it was wrong. Then, you go one step further and try to figure out why it was wrong. This is the double loop part. Once you know the reason it was wrong, you can learn from this mistake and try not to make it again. So double-loop learning means that you learn from your mistakes and try to make sure they don't happen again.
