Neuroinflammation

Neuroinflammation is like an injury to the brain. It happens when things like germs, toxins, or other bad stuff get into the brain and start to cause damage. The brain tries to fight back by sending signals to the immune system to come to the rescue. The immune system then sends extra cells to the brain to help fix the problem. This process is called neuroinflammation.
