ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Neutrality of money

Neutrality of money means that money itself doesn't have any value on its own. Instead, its value comes from the things it can buy. For example, you can use it to buy a toy or a hotdog, but the money itself can't be used to play with or eaten. Money is just a way to keep track of how much something is worth, and it can be used to buy different things.
